Yvon's current R&D activities:
- software architecture and reuse issues
- service oriented archiecture : service
description, indexation and composition
Yvon's past R&D activities:
- IST
CANDLE: a very challenging project in a European context to provide a platform
and content for distance learning education in telecommunications. This
project is done with 9 well known academic partners and two key industry
players (BT and Siemens). Yvon is the lead of a workspackage devoted to
user's interfaces.
- RAM
QoS with France Telecom R&D. Please access Martin's website to know

- Amarrage (Active networks)
within the RNTL context
- DCE
as a support for distributed system programming (its
evaluation is being done in conjunction with the Research Labs of France
Telecom - CNET). The aim of this project was to evaluate OSF DCE in
heavy situations : e.g., a server is saturated with numerous clients'
requests.
- GNAT : GNU New York University Ada
Translator. The collaboration involves ENST Paris,
New York University, Texas A&M University at College Station
and targets the implementation of the distributed systems annex of Ada 95. The
GLADE
system is available now.
ACT Europe offers commercial support for GNAT in Europe.
